It starts on that house up on the hill. You know the one I’m talking about.

You’ve seen it yourself: it’s old and decaying and as spooky it gets. It’s the sort of house everyone stays away from. It’s been empty for years and no-one ever goes up there. The kids all say it’s haunted and they dare each other to go up there, but they never go through with it. The last one that tried never came back, that’s what they say. It’s probably not true, though. It’s just a big, old, empty house. Nothing to be afraid of. They should just pull the thing down and have done with it. Some say you can see lights up there sometimes. And noises. Screams in the night. But it’s just that kind of house. 

Stay away, that’s my advice.
